The intent of this page is to provide the capability to compute a number of thermodynamic, thermophysical, and chemical kinetic properties associated with ideal gas mixtures. The tool is designed to compute the following quantities:

 

transport properties
dimensionless groups
chemical equilibrium
homogeneous kinetics

 
  1. gas-phase transport properties such as viscosity or thermal conductivity
  2. dimensionless parameters such as the Lewis number or Reynolds number
  3. the equilibrium state—composition, temperature, pressure—of an ideal gas mixture
  4. time evolution of a homogeneous reacting gas mixture in a closed system
